Hi All

I am trying to pin down what type of Capacitor I have on a circuit. I know it seems to be a Tantalum Polymer SMD cap, all it says is 100 and 16e. I've attached the pictures of the boards in question that have the part.

Would seem a little odd to me if that is the point of failure unless it was physically damaged. might I ask why do you suspect it is at fault?

Hello,

There are different values on the parts.
The black ones say 100 μF / 16 V
The orange says 47 μF / 16 V

Bertus
Noticed that too, that orange one seems to be that of a repaired part and perhaps incorrectly. It's a refurb from china so it makes sense that they wouldn't necessarily stay to spec.
