Hi, all.
Was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to read this probe: HM Digital SP-5 Single TDS Sensor. The only thing I could get for a "datasheet" is this: HM Digital Sensor Specs.
I'm on my junior year at school (getting an EE degree), and this quarter we're working on a project to design a low-cost water filtration system. The TDS reading is needed in order to get electrical conductivity readings off the water - we dip the sensors in the liquid and if the TDS reading is too high, don't drink the water, if the readings are low, go ahead and quench your thirst.
We're planning on mounting this probe (or another, if you feel there're better ways/probes out there) into the wall of the clean water container (about 1-3 gallons in size), so when water comes in from the filter, it could tell the user what the TDS reading of that water is.
Any help and advice is appreciated.
