I used to be able to enter an answer to a post without actually posting it and come back hours later and the greyed out message was still there, the feature seems to have gone now?

Maybe it is just the autosave feature that is disabled. I really liked that and relied on it. You can save a draft with this icon:


But, that is a sorry substitute.

That seems to work OK, it was nice for it to be automatic!

It seems like things hang around, but not for as long as they used to. I started a couple of posts earlier today and opted not to post them and they are still there. I did the same a few days ago and when I went back (I think) a day later the content was gone.

 

Maybe the interval for autosave has been changed? I see no reason it cant'be something like 10 seconds, which it wasn't when I tested before posting.

 

In the last days I started maybe three answer in my mobile. I was able to complete them from my PC.

The whole text apeared greyed out but, just by clicking on it, I was able to write the rest. Not sure if I have seen the automatic save in action lately.

 

When I am replying and autosave happens, a pop-up in the lower right corner informs me "draft saved." Today, that took about 30 to 40 seconds.
