Well, "Class T" is a trademarked brand name for a Class D amplifier. So, determining which one sounds better really depends if you are the owner of the trademark or the victim that paid extra for an amplifier called "Class T".

Class T is much more complex than simple class D. Whether you can hear the difference is an entirely different matter.

Class-T was a trademark from a now defunct company called Tripath.

I actually purchased an amp kit from company called 41 Hz, which is also gone.

Anyways, I used it for many years as a subwoffer amplifier, until I moved to my new (smaller) home, where I've no space for a home theater setup.
The sound? It was OK.
