Hi im designing a circuit using the following guidelines.
Design a one-transistor amplifier to satisfy the following specification.
Voltage gain: at least 20 dB at mid-band into 600 Ω
Frequency response:
Lower cut-off frequency: 40 Hz
Upper cut-off frequency: 1 MHz
Input impedance: 600 Ω ± 10%
Output impedance: 600 Ω ± 10%
DC supply voltage: 12 V
DC supply current: not more than 15 mA
Output power: not less than 2.0 mW into 600 Ω at mid-band.
The circuit should be based on a 2N2222A bipolar transistor - you can download a data sheet for this device from numerous websites.
The circuit is to be fed from a source that has an output impedance of 600 Ω and is required to drive a load of 600 Ω[/FONT]
I’ve done my calculations below but im pretty sure they are too basic and too easy to be right. I have probably not taken certain thing sinto account or missed some factors out. Could someone guide me where im going wrong and explain how Im am supposed to go about getting the upper and lower frequency cutoff values required?
