I am looking for a book or source that has a lot of beginner circuit schematics (without micro controllers). I have the tools/math to design circuits, I just need ALOT of practice building and seeing how circuits work. I am aware of the make: electronics book but any others would be great!

 

Take a look at Abebooks clearing house, I have picked up quite a few book bargains there.
I don't know if they are still in print, but the SAMS series was a good source.
