You apply 12V/24VDC power source and turn on VR101A POWER ON.
Connect mic J106 plug to J105 socket. Press SW102 PTT switch. Push to talk. Start talking.

Honestly I'd like to understand the circuit all the way from where you tune the receiver signal to the speaker, and from where the signal comes from the mic all the way to being transmitted

 

This is the only description I have, but I'd like something with a little bit better explained and with a little more detail
