    Hello guys,
I am riza working on a charging system project on a lithium ion battery. I want to ask about chargin system using constant current constant voltage method. based on some literature I have read, the method begins with a constant current mode until the threshold voltage is reached and then switches to constant voltage mode until the battery is fully charged. Should the method be made that way, what happens if the charging process starts with a constant voltage mode and switches to constant current mode? Please help the explanation. Thank you

What happens is that there is nothing to limit the battery charging current at the beginning so you likely will get a nice battery explosion and/or fire.

Please, can you explain me how the chronology is complete?

    Here's a good explanation of the do's and don'ts of charging a lithium-ion battery.
The main point is -- never overcharge a lithium-ion battery or bad things happen.
