I have an Asus ZenPad 3s 10 (model P027) which came with a charger with an output of 5.0v 2.0A and an input of 100-240v 50/60Hz 0.3A . I have been unable to obtain a replacement for it.

I already have a charger for a Samsung tablet which has an identical specification to the Asus one except for the fact that it has an input of 3.5A (not 0.3A).

Can anyone please advise whether the Samsung charger would be suitable to charge the Asus tablet without harming it?

 

The input current is for the mains supply, it has nothing to do with the output, as long the output voltage matches the Asus charger with tha same current or higher it will do.
