Changes in track width while routing in ECAD tool

Dear colleagues,

I've a general question about routing in ECAD tools. The thing is sometimes I need to reduce trace width when approaching a pad of a component which is smaller than the trace itself, like in the attached example. What kind of considerations one need to take into account regarding width reduction when routing?

Additionally, anyone can recommend me reliable online trace width calculator??
