Hi all, I'm embarrassed to say I can't figure this one out and I know there is a simple answer.
I'm using a 4060 to obtain a time delay of 30 min. I want the device to start counting when first powered up, but I found it to randomly start with outputs high or low or in the middle of counting.
The reset (pin 12) if held at gnd will start counting. What I would like to do is at power up, hold the reset high for about 50mS or so then go low to start the count clean.
I tried a .47uF on + and a 50k to -on pin 12 but no luck.
Any Ideas?
