Has anyone installed the CD4000 libraries for LTSpice on Mac? I have them installed but when I go into my schematic, I don't see the library? I thought it would be the same way for doing windows but I am not sure what I am missing?

I don't use a Mac, but wonder if you have the library installed where LTS expects to find it? Do you know the paths of other libraries?

I don't know about Mac either, but in LTSpice Win there is a way to tell the app where you have your additional files, and they will show up in the components dialog box.

The setting is in the control panel. (sorry I'm not at a PC where LTSpice is installed, or I would give the exact location)

In mac, you do the following:

1.) Go >> Applications >> LTSpice
2.) Then you right click on it to prompt the menu and select "Show Package Contents"
3.) It will then show you the folder contents, similar to windows.

From there, I followed the same instructions as windows, putting the .lib file within the "Lib" folder and then CD4000 folder in the "sym" folder and when going into LTSpice, nothing happens. I tried using the .inc directive and that doesn't work either. Just curious if anyone with a Mac has been able to resolve this with this particular library. If not, that's okay.
