All of them should be on a flaming helicopter to hell IMO.
That was confusing until I did some Internet Searching on the subject, finally was able to hear that Russian was going to attack a Wagner convoy, the Wagner Group launched mobile missiles to bring them down.

Would have been interesting to watch them pound each other into the ground. On the other hand to bad Ukraine has to be a part of it.

The whole thing was engineered by Putin to eliminate the threat and gain control over his troops. We keep underestimating Putin.

Putin and his boot-lickers are not masterminds, they make the Wagner group look impressive. The military execution, political and logistical operation of the Ukraine war has been a absolute F-up for Russia. There are plenty of hardened criminals in Putin's troops already. These Merc's are unlikely to want to become unwanted and untrusted cannon-fodder for the hollowed out Russian army. I expect (likely already are) to see the US covertly using them to attack Russia.

No excuse but where the hell was his military escort. Had the unfortunate duty to escort and watch a prisoner. We were told if anything happened to him (including suicide) while in our charge, we would be in the next brig cell.
It doesn't sound like he was under arrest, just on orders to return stateside to face possible disciplinary action. I haven't seen any information about exactly who escorted him to the airport. I think people are immediately envisioning that it was the military police that escorted him, but it could very likely have been his roommate or someone from his unit. The "escort" could have been nothing more than making sure that someone ordered to travel under government orders was able to get to the airport. When I was in the service, that was pretty routine. If we had someone arriving or leaving on orders and they didn't have transportation between the base and the airport, the orderly room would arrange for someone in the squadron to pick them up or take them there. I got tasked a few times with that and was the recipient of such "escorts", as well. When escorting someone to the airport, the moment they were out of the car at the airport with their bags, my job was done. Sometimes I would hang out with them and perhaps have a snack while they waited for their flight, but that was not expected (or allowed, if I was doing this during duty hours).

I guess you're right. The guy was just a total idiot.

We were not MP's either, just some fellow shipmate's given verbal orders handed down from the CO (god, the s-bird we escorted mouthed off the XO, was give brig time on the ship with old Navy bread and water and was kicked off the ship at the next port for a trip back to the US).

Study reveals older burglars outperform younger counterparts in virtual burglaries

Older burglars demonstrated more developed expertise in terms of items stolen and the efficiency of their search compared to their younger counterparts. These findings suggest that expertise plays a crucial role in offense-related decision-making across the criminal career.

And which government agency used taxpayer money to fund THAT research?

Portland City Council passes open-use drug ban
David Friedericks of Portland Fire & Rescue Station 1 says his station alone responded to a total of 76 overdose calls over Labor Day weekend and calls the high volume of calls is disheartening.

In some cases we treat the same patient in the same week. And we know through our partners of AMR, that the same patient has overdosed multiple times in a day,” says Friedericks. “I know that even when we try to help, our help is unwanted, wares on all of us.”
Wow. Yes, it's obvious there needs to be a ban on this activity .
