Capacitor replacement

Hello,

I noticed in one of my boards that a SMD capacitor, which looks like the one below, is bulky, I mean, looks like it's going to explode. It's 47uF/25V and it's located close to a high frequency transformer. The board is faulty because one of the voltages is not stable. So I guess that could be the problem. The point is that I don't have those kind of capacitors right now. I don't even know if they are low ESR capacitors. Probably they are, but not sure. Right now I just have aluminium electrolytic capacitors 47uF/50V (lead type), as shown in the picture. I know that if they were proper to use, soldering them would not be very efficient.

So, what's your suggestion?

Tack the radial cap across the suspect one and see if it makes a difference. If it does, order a more appropriate replacement.
