Hello,
I have to replace a 10000uF 100V capacitor. I have bought a new one but its size is noticeable smaller. Do I have to take into account anything else apart from capacitance and voltaje?

Thanks

That all depends on the application. Some other things which might matter are ESR, temperature rating, ripple current rating. What kind of circuit is it used in?

I copied following from bad caps forum:
"
For replacements:
- ESR should be the same or lower.
- Ripple should be the same or higher.
- Voltage should be the same or higher. [Without getting ridiculous.]
- Don't wanna change uF unless you have to.
- Also make sure it will physically fit both diameter and height.
.
Replace all of the same brand as the bad one.
If it's on it's last leg the others aren't far behind.

Hi,
It is used in a servo amplifier circuit. I attach pictures of both capacitors.
Thanks for the answer.

If you are replacing the blue one with black one, look at the difference between operating temperature.
It would work but I dunno your operating temperatures
