Hi guys,
I’m new to the electronics world so please go easy on me. I have searched the forum but can’t seem to find a answer so sorry if it’s been asked before. I was hoping you could help me understand how to decode a color coded capacitor? (See uploaded photo).

Thanks in advance

Hello,

The continuity test will beep when the value is low enough.
The resistance will be to high for the ones where it does not beep.

My meter on the diode/continuity range has three modes, continuous, short beep, long beep, depending on degree of low resistance.

The meter will beep on continuity test when it encounters a low resistance.
Next question is, "What is the definition of low resistance?"

I had one meter that would beep when it had a stable reading for at least a short time. That let me know that I had a satisfactory connection.
AND that part is indeed a resistor, with a value of 22 x ten to the zero power (which =1)
