capacitive discharge ignition

Hello,

I built a homemade CDI a while back however I'm looking for something that will be much more compact and uses a flyback/IC to get the job done. This would also mean that the bridge rectifier would have to go as those don't work great with flybacks. On the schematic pin 1 is VCC, pin 2 is ground, pin 3 is ignition coil positive, pin 4 is ignition coil negative, and pin 5 & 6 go to the points. Any concerns with this circuit? I was able to get the power source to work in spice so that should be ok. I am trying to be able to get a multiphase spark without a bridge rectifier which is why I added D3 but I am worried that it could drain the cap/put a load on the transformer by completing the circuit.
