Hey all,

I've received word that our project has been canceled, and I'm a bit confused. Could someone shed some light on why having a circuit breaker in the project was not allowed? I want to understand the reasoning behind this decision better.

I've add the fuse in combination with two AD/DC (220v-12v) (220v-5v) transformers.

Their reasoning was as follows: "only 1x phase is shut down. The fuse is acting as power on/off button and not as a fuse . This is not ok for reception of equipment installed in shops."

Thanks for your help in clarifying this matter.

It is not correct to put circuit protection in a neutral feed connection, UNLESS it is a single-multi-pole breaker that will switch off all the connections if it trips.
AND whoever "cancelled the project" should have been able and willing to explain the reason clearly. UNless they have no idea but were only following a script. That is often the case with government employees.
