How did you place the pot? Can't find one in the components

Hi, here it is. My computer path where I have been trying to place it is C:\Users\Lenovo\AppData\Local\Programs\ADI\LTspice\lib.zip\lib\sym

I hope I haven't been trying to do anything wrong.

Unzip this folder to your desktop, keep all 3 files in the same folder on the desk top, until you are sure it workd.
Added a Don1.asc demo of pot.

Hi, thanks much. So I need to place all three files back where I took the draft from? And that battery part, I can just delete it if I don't want and just use U2 (I am planning to connect the pot to R2)? If I want to use this pot in new schematics, I just have to copy and paste it there?

Are you able to control the pot with the 3 files from the desktop folder, make sure it works OK.?

Here are my pot files - same idea as @ericgibbs versions. Put in your project directory with your .asc file (project specific), or (globally) the .asy in the LTSpice sym folder and the .lib in the sub folder. To set up, right click on the symbol and in the value field type "RV=10k position=0.4" for eg a 10k pot set at 40% from the bottom.
