Fluke is pricey and reliable but any meter will do.Hi.
I did say 'indication' of the 741 pins, not an absolute measurement, what do you suggest a Fluke DVM.?

When i was starting with electronics, nothing was cheap. even low cost analog meters ware priced quite steeply and not easy to get (at least for a kid in rural area). but today even DMM for $10 will be an excellent tool to have and one can buy them anywhere, from local hardware store, Walmart, car parts store, gas stations, or simply online. and DMM is the first thing one should get, even if it is one of the dirt cheap models.
