Can I use higher Amperage than required?

Hi everyone, I bought a v56 LCD Controller and it requires a power supply with 12V 4A, my power adapter is 12V 7.5A is there any problem using higher amps? or I should buy the exact 12V 4A?

It is actually better to get a supply that can supply more current. This will ensure a longer lifetime. The device, as others have said, will only draw the current it needs.
