Can I use AR1100 with *Capacitive* Touch Panel?

Hi all,

Electronics beginner here.

I got a Latte Panda 7" Capacitive Touch Panel, but I don't know how to make it USB mouse.

I know AR1100 does the job for Resistive Touch Panel, so will it work for Capacitive as well?

If no, which IC do I need to convert this into USB mouse thing?
