Can anyone identify this component?

I wondered if anyone could help me identify the component marked LL 741 (in the bottom centre of the attached photo). No amount of google searching has helped identification. The pin on the bottom right of the component is permanently connected to board ground. It's a component on a vox amp/emulator circuit which will not power on. When the on/off button on the unit is depressed and held voltage is passed between source & drain on the mosfet RRH100 above the component in question. When the on/off button is released however the RRH100 turns off.

Thanks for the link. I can see how you selected that part now. Trouble is I've now found that Pin 3 on the part I have is permanently connected to the 12V power rail and I note that the RT9169-31PVL has an absolute voltage rating of 7V on the VIN pin 3. So, given that the part I am trying to identify has 12V on pin 3 and ground on pin 2, it certainly seems to be a regulator but not the RT9169-31PVL :confused:
