Someone needs to get a life or at least fake one.

Mere electrical engineers, who actually build programable hardware, have no problems using C (in all of it's many varieties) to make the modern world of electronics possible but delicate programmers want to cry because, well, reasons.

Now if you want to rant mindlessly about the x86 horror of an instruction set and architecture, we might have something in common instead of arguing if Navaho is a better language than Russian.
