Bypass capacitor for a PWM

and the bypass caps will not have to do that. the filter caps in the power supply do that, the bypass caps are there to filter noise off the supply and provide a low impedance "bypass" for the chip supply. the bypasses filter out noise caused by the distance from the supply, and the inductance of the wires to the supply.
