Does anyone have any suggestions on a benchtop DC power supply which can supply up to 10A !? I'm looking online and I see a couple running for around $50-70, although I don't know anything about these brands and models....Or these websites for that matter (Jet.com?)...Any ideas?

The cheap Chinese supplies are good enough when they work. I've had to return one that didn't work right when heavily loaded. The next one from the same store shelf has been on my bench for about 6 years now.
High field failure rates are just a part of that attractive pricing point. You pay more to have less anxiety about equipment failure.

Seems to be true about many cheap Chinese electronics (especially on Ebay). You're either pleasantly surprised or the magic smoke flows freely and often :)

Wow. Learn something new everyday! Pickup some laundry soap, some toilet paper, a variable DC power supply...
Hi,

Yeah tomorrow i was thinking of doing something like that too, pickup some eggs, milk, and a new power supply :)

Seriously that price sounds too good to be true. 300 watt power supplies usually run about $150 USD although i guess you could get lucky.

Beware, some Newegg secondary sellers are very hard to deal with if the product you get is defective. It took me a month to get a refund on a TV that had a bad LCD screen. Buying directly from Newegg is different though, they are pretty good.

You may as well buy from eBay - your link says "sold and shipped by 'yes com'."

Who the hell is Yescom? Have you ever dealt with them?
OOH, OOH pick me! Bought an electric pressure cooker from them. Works good, but no understandable instructions. Got them form another Chinese brand of cooker.

Pressure cooker? That's easy, Just randomly adjust things until the chicken is either cooked or propelled into the ceiling with great force.

I agree about Newegg...BR-549's link shows a better price as well.
