How important is the filtering of the power going into the input of the buck converter. I have a larger power transformer 50 volt and 40 amp feeding my buck converters. Does it make much difference on the filtering on the output of the supply..? I have 30000uf on the output. Would it be better to go with less and add a little at the output of the converter. The problem is the caps are giving me to much inrush and if its not needed I will get rid of some.
