I've been reading some articles but could only find very technical and advanced examples!

Tried these:

I've come across many links but none tells me what I need.

I'm also searching Ned Mohan book, but no luck either.

No, I was looking for DC-DC converter to correct Power Factor! But all I can find is AC-DC.

Indeed... That's why I was not finding anything in Google! Probably my teacher typo'ed DC-DC instead of AC-DC.
