bubbling/fizzling sound when charging my brand new AGM batteries ..#2

To anybody being in the same situation.

It's been over 8 years now. I'm still using the same two batteries and they are not showing signs of dying yet. Granted, I've always discharged them gently, to no less than 80% of their capacity (barely discharged) and on some days I don't discharge them at all.

I've never really solved the problem of what is the correct voltage for absorption and float. 8 years ago I've set it to 27.7V during absorption and 27.1V during float (13.85V and 13.55V per battery). And that's how I left it ever since. I think I might have heard some mild bubbling during the years from time to time, but honestly I just stopped caring and listening to it.

After 8+ years the batteries seem to be still OK.
