I am in area with many aggravating power outages, Single 110 VAC,
1 phase generator.

Any AC panels with three position breakers, left buss, off, right buss, so
I can switch some loads to buss with gen on it when I get an outage. And
remove the rest because my generator is a loser generator with just enough
power to toast a muffin, thats it.

Regards, Dana.

The way this is generally done would be using a manual transfer switch with On - Off - On positions which could be labeled Generator - Off - Utility Company. This can serve as an example. In your case the link is significant overkill and designed for switching standard 240 VAC split phase. The output of the switch goes to a small sub circuit breaker panel having only the branch circuits you want to support during a mains power outage. The normal way to do this is to have a small separate breaker panel which can be switched between utility company mains and your generator but I have never seen it done with a small 120 volt single phase generator where just using an extension cord in emergencies is generally done.
