ok but for the air conditioning is central air better then regular air conditioning that you install in a window. In terms of cost and quality.... (provided it is a small or medium size place)

I am basically trying to figure out if a places has everything I want but not central air... (and installing central air is not in the contract) can you still uses window air conditioners to get it to the same quality without spending a fortune
on the electric bill or the cost of the wattage unit.

Trying to figure out if not having central air would be a deal breaker in renting a certain apartment or if it is completely fixable with window air conditioners in a reasonable way/cost.

Your thoughts on when you can uses one over the other or both.
