Bluetooth signal booster

I purchased a Testo wireless kit for HVAC work. The kit consists of two temperature sensors and two pressure sensors. These item connect to an app on my iphone. When I switch them on and open the app they connect automatically to the app. It all works very well except that the range is not very good. I would like to extend this range but everything I look at buying is designed around sound transfer and not data.

Does anyone have a possible solution to suggest?

Is it your intention to leave these sensors connected semi-permanently ?
If You do this, you will loose all your refrigerant over a period of a couple of days to a week.

To get an accurate picture of what's going on, the interior of the House needs to be
within ~5-degrees or so of the expected average Temperature-Setpoint, with Low-Humidity,
otherwise, the exact numbers will be somewhat irrelevant, and much higher than "normal".

If You are looking for a performance tweak,
just change over to "Dura-Cool" Refrigerant, it's much more efficient, and
much less prone to leakage due to it's much larger Molecule size.

If You do any of this in a Commercial-Setting,
You are likely to be Fined and loose your License.

I am an HVAC technician. These are tools for testing and setting superheat etc. They will be attached only while I am using them on site. They would be connected to the outdoor condenser while I do adjustments at the indoor. This is impossible with the poor range.

Apparently there are such things as Bluetooth extenders or boosters:

Alternatively, try a different phone or tablet. Maybe it'll have a better Bluetooth range. Or, modify the sensors with better antennae.
Thanks for your input but it seems that these bluetooth extenders are designed for sound and cannot do the job. I contacted Avantree directly and they confirmed as much. Im a bit dubious about opening an expensive tool and modifying it. I was hoping that some of the electronic brains on this forum may have a design that I could copy to make something that would work.
