BLDC driver ic recommendation

I am building an ROV Underwater.

I want to use brushless motors in its arms and the main thrusters.

I was thinking of building my own ESC.

So i need a BLDC controller that can control 3 pairs of FETs to commutate the motor. But the arm motor will be low-power so i was wondering is there a BLDC motor driver that:

1) Has I2C Control interface available.
2) Has a variant that has internal FETs and one with the ability to drive external FETs.

So for example chips X1 and X2 have the same exact protocol and setting but one has internal FETs and is ready out of the box, while the other drives external FETs.

Like the drv10983 But with a variant that can drive externel FETs.

The reason i want this is to have the same i2c protocol.
Or maybe the same ic has two mode one that can drive MOSFETs and the other drives motor directly.Or can supply a signal to a mosfet driver.

Thanks in advance.

Not to be a downer to your ideas, but you will be able to buy ready made modules that work much cheaper than making your own. This is just the simple fact of life. The time alone of designing, building, troubleshooting why it doesn't work will take much time especially if you new to this electronics game. Do a search on this site and see all of the people that have tried before you, don't think you will find many that have succeeded in getting one that works.

I may be wrong in this but don't think so.
