So does anyone have any words of advice and maybe advise which of the switches that I should use?
I'd have to vote neither of them. No need for a switch that is capable of that much power.

Couldn't find the website for *no name Chinese laser*. So there is no way I'm going to keep playing a guessing game with you. You know what you have and my crystal ball is in the shop.

Side note: I always think of NEMA as an environmental rating, dust-tight, washdown, rain-tight, waterproof, etc.

There are several standards that come under a NEMA title.
I have a technical/combined/catalogue of three of the biggest servo motor manufacturers, for example, Vexta/Oriental motor for one, and one example of many shows a range of motors, all with the same mounting size, and Go from 15.3oz-in to 44.4 oz-in.
Nowhere in their literature can I find the term NEMA.!
