I would like to know what is the best way to keep a lead acid battery (or generally every battery) to its best operating condition (make its life longer).
I used to service the giant lead acid batteries for fork lifts (hated it). Pure water is one important step. I've noticed other posts talking about sulfation, which I'm not too familiar with. Trickle charging is also important, too much current will damage them long term (sulfation perhaps?).
