Hi,

I am designing a system that controls two 3V motors uwing PWM. Power is going to be delivered bu a lithium polymer battery. So what I want to do is to be able to charge the battery at the same time that I am runnign the motors. I saw this application note from Microchip for me to be able to do this:

So I am at a point where I am choosing the external components of the charger. In the circuit, it requires a PMOS to switch between the battery and the wall adapter. I am confused on what specs I should be looking for a PMOS. My motors have a total start/stall current of about 1.4A, but the operating current is just 500mA. How should I choose the appropriate PMOS? Or is there any other way for me to implement load sharing?
