This charger is connected to Wemos ESP8266.
This device is comfortable because it provides charging and 5V out on one device.

It looks like working well, yet after sometime the power disconnects and the WEMOS is shut down.
From what I read it may be because of low power consumption - one of the device features, which I don't need.
Any idea how to prevent this feature?

This is a good idea, although I wish I could disable this timeout.
It takes 33 seconds from start to stop.

Doubt that's possible.
I would try what I suggested by just physically connecting a 100 ohm resistor say every 30 seconds for a few seconds to see if it will actually work.
