I'm making a battery cart for my FRC team. We want to use multiple Noco G3500 Smart Charger, since a bank charger would need to be replaced if one channel fails, which is far more expensive. I'm running into a problem, I can't figure the ampere requirement from the wall. The datasheet meantions "Max Power" of 60, which means the amp draw is 500mA. But the charger is a 3.5A charger. Which do I use? I don't want to trip a breaker

 

Why would the Noco trip a breaker?
The max power drawn is 60W. That is equivalent to a 60W lightbulb.
The max current @ 120VAC is 60W/120V = 0.5A
