Anyone know of a good bathroom timer that goes in the wall switch box.
Not an Expensive cheepo works twice wind up one. A solid state one.
---->>>> Or a Circuit for one I can build.
Specifications: Push button, fan runs 30 min.

I would maybe just think about a good quality PIR sensor designed for a single gang box. Most include a timer in addition to a manual override. A good variety can be found at any home improvement store like this selection as an example. The one I had in my work office was adjustable for 30 min. Worked fine for the 6 years I used it before I retired. :)

Do you have a neutral available in the switch box ? Without access to neutral it makes it more difficult to design a timer. Many bathroom fans have a built in timer but they will require an unswitched live as well as the switched live at the fan.

Another option is a single gang mechanical timer switch similar to this one and available from any home improvement store. These fit into an existing box (single gang) and are just a setable mechanical switch so no neutral line is required. This makes them suitable for older construction before under new code neutral was required at switch points.
