I am trying to create a small profile SSID broadcaster for a project I am working on and need any help that can be offered. I would like to couple a USB Wifi dongle (one of those tiny ones) with a 12V cigarette lighter USB power source and simply broadcast an SSID. Ideally I would like to be able to change the SSID by plugging the Wifi dongle into a computer or something similar but it is not critical. There is no need for internet access or anything beyond broadcast (no need to receive data).
Any thoughts on parts or approaches? Many thanks in advance.
