To fit into a typical (larger) digital clock the volume of the horn needs to be not much more than a cubic inch. But with a frequency of perhaps 2500 Hz that might be possible. And unlike music or speech, very much a single frequency.

 

For most piezo transducers, the loudness at high frequency squeaks is VERY loud but at low frequencies the loudness is very low.
