There is a circuit in the well known
book Experimental Methods in RF Design. This circuit my post is about is on page 7.17. A circuit similar to this is on page 5.19. The one on pg 5.19 is for 14 Mhz it has Q5 as a output amp from that circuit. I believe Q5 is broadbanded so maybe Q5 could be used with the output bpf on pg 7.17 What do you think?

Yes, you can do that. The output voltage after the 50MHz BP-filter (+ 10dB pad) is low, an amplifier with some decent gain would be beneficial in raising the available output power. You probably need a transistor with higher transit frequency.
