Band Pass Filter

Hi,
There is a circuit in the well known
book Experimental Methods in RF Design. This circuit my post is about is on page 7.17. A circuit similar to this is on page 5.19. The one on pg 5.19 is for 14 Mhz it has Q5 as a output amp from that circuit. I believe Q5 is broadbanded so maybe Q5 could be used with the output bpf on pg 7.17 What do you think?17437333384767267562603251703819.jpg17437334202827400003092744609668.jpg

Yes, you can do that. The output voltage after the 50MHz BP-filter (+ 10dB pad) is low, an amplifier with some decent gain would be beneficial in raising the available output power. You probably need a transistor with higher transit frequency.
