L-band over fiber extenders for a long run

I have a project where I need to extend an L-band feed from the dish back to the receiver, and the run is too long for coax. I talked it over with a friend and he told me to buy these from QuestTel:

Does anyone have experience with them? Do they seem ok for this kind of application? And is there a cheaper solution that would do the same job? I'd like to compare options before spending the money.
