Hello Readers,

I am looking for an automotive ethernet switch which received input from an automotive ECU (1000 Base T1) and relays/forwards it to either user's laptop (1000 Base T) or another automotive ECU (1000 Base T1).


Let me know if there is any automotive ethernet device that acts a converter (1000 Base T1 to 1000 Base T for the user's laptop) as well as a switch to chose one of the 2 output ports for this application.

 

What ECU specifically? As far as I know all recent automotive ECUs are CAN based which has nothing to do with ethernet. Before CAN is even more of a mess.

It is a headunit ECU. It sends data over ethernet so I need a device that can perform two functions:
1. receive data from the head unit on 1000 Base T1 automotive ethernet
2. forward this data to another ECU over 1000 Base T1 and also to user's laptop over 1000 Base T.
