I am looking for some help in my design,
I created a automatic irrigator, with a ESP32. and I have this questions
1.-I have selected efficient and production ICs? (IP5306, MP1700T, MP2338)
2.- J8 is connected to a solar pannel (6v 100mA) that is going to charge a li-on battery?
3.- is that the correct connection for a minimum system for ESP32? I am programming it through ESP-PROG, usb type c is just used as power supply and charge the battery.

Maybe, depends on how much current the system uses and how much the sun shines where you are.

From a brief glance, it all looks OK apart from the outputs. How do they work? You can't drive much from a PC817.

 

One serious caution is that all of the common irrigation valves that I have sen operate on 24 volts AC.A 5 volt signal will notdo much for those valves.

 

I agree. Residential sprinkler systems drive low voltage AC solenoids.

 

It is certainly complex for an irrigation control that does not seem to include a moisture sensing input.
Is the TS willing to explain just what it actually would be doing???
