Hey everyone I just put together this audio amp circuit and began to test it, I have noticed that there is this hum in the background. Does anybody know how this can be fixed? Is it the power supply, are my soldering points? The hum somes to get louder with the adjustment of the power supply, and tone controls but it never goes completely away. Any ideas would help.

 

What is the power supply?
Linear, switched mode?
To eliminate the power supply as the cause, try running it on batteries.

I tried this last night and the problem still existed, I thinking I may have created a ground loop somehow

 

Can you post pictures of your amplifier and wiring?
