Hello all, first time user of forum!

I am want to build a fake window into my basement to make it feel more homely and habitable.

I would like the window to light up from dawn till dusk with a soft start and stop time of around 2hrs.

The lighting I intend on using is 2x LED T-Bar Panel Down Light – 60W (600mm x 1200mm) which I will mount on the wall and build a window frame around it and the glass will have a translucent photo of a view, like you where really looking out a window and not stuck in a bunker.

My question is: How can I automate the light to mimic the sun's movements in real light (or as close to)?

Use a phototransistor as the light sensor outside, and feed this to your leds circuit.
