Are there circuit components that has Power P besides the ohmic resistor? or is the term of power only used for ohmic resistors?
Thanks
Thanks
Power is a concept that is completely generic -- it is the rate of energy conversion from one form to another, which is also equivalent to the rate that work is done on something. For most electronics, the instantaneous power is the product of a voltage differential and the current flowing through that differential since a voltage difference is, by definition, the amount of work done on a unit of electrical charge moved between two points. Are there circuit components that has Power P besides the ohmic resistor? or is the term of power only used for ohmic resistors?
