okay... so Terminals are designes for stationary, fixed place.... hmm i gotta think how to make these portable.

 

anyway how these get in terminal screws? that looks long, maybe will expose some metals oputside the box terminal

What is the other end of that adapter you showed in the first post? Showing it or telling what it is may get you some better ideas.

That looks like a coaxial power connector, probably used to repair a power module that had the molded on connector fail from use. Connectors like those terminals must be sized for the wires used. My cheating trick for small wires in big terminals is to skin the insulation back farther and fold the wire over before inserting it. And sometimes to fold the wire back over the insulation and then insert both wire and insulation and tighten the screw. But that only works well for low-power applications.
I have never seen an adapter like that, so I am interested in the source, because they could be very useful to me at times.
