Hello,
I have an Arduino UNO and I want to measure forces (up to 1600N) with a strain gaged block (which I already have). I have seen two SGS amps that you can buy, namely the HX711 load cell amplifier from Sparkfun and the Load Cell Amplifier Shield from Robotshop.
I want to measure the force from the SG and have each datum sample fed directly into an Excell spreadsheet so I can graph the output. Would I need an API to do achieve this or is there a nicer more elegant way to do this ?
And which load cell amplifier have you used and found to be the most useful / easy to use ?
(btw - the sample rate of the HX711 is 80 S/s)
Any ideas are appreciated.
Thanks
